Rotation Beginnings and Technology Lessons

Group-
Dr. A here.  I thought I'd start out the day by reflecting on our experiences as a group.  First, you constantly remind me how many different things you know and how much I learn from being surrounded by student pharmacists.  Today, we had a struggle with skype again.  This high pitched feedback.  The group problem solved and discovered that headphones helped to minimize the feedback and turning the camera / microphone off and only turning on when speaking still allowed us to see each other.  We figured out how to get the group video rolling too.  The group worked together and problem solved finding additional solutions (google voice - didn't fit our needs) - Michael suggested Ventrilo as a back up.  My technology pearl for you - jing.  I love it - Dr. Mary Starry at U of I introduced it to me and you get to be able to take clear snapshots of your screen.  You can save your image or uploaded it where you need to go.  Also, I hope that you like the Google Website and that it helps our rotation grow further and become something even more wonderful.

This rotation has created an extended group of colleagues and friends for me - for which I am eternally grateful.  I hope that the group enjoyed our initial conversations just as much as I did and can't wait to grow the group further next Monday with the addition of our colleagues from Drake.

Happy evening and wishing you well wherever you are in the world :-)
